"As believers, how can we fail to see that abortion, euthanasia and assisted suicide are a terrible rejection of God's gift of life and love? And as believers, how can we fail to feel the duty to surround the sick and those in distress with the warmth of our affection and the support that will help them always to embrace life?" St. Pope John Paul II

Join us as we kick off the next 40 Days for Life Campaign here in Manhattan. We invite you to join for the 12:45pm Mass at the Basilica of Old St. Patrick's Cathedral followed by a reception at 2:00pm. We will begin with prayer to give thanks for the 12,000+ lives saved around the world since 40 Days for Life began in 2007 ,and will hear from several guest speakers including the Sisters of Life.

Learn more on how the foundation of prayer, fasting and peaceful vigil all play a crucial role in the effectiveness of this campaign. Hear firsthand from the Sisters of Life of women whose lives have been drastically changed by the campaign and hear an inspirational talk from Monica Herber of the Frassati Fellowship of NYC on the power saying yes in the face of difficult circumstances.
