AUGUST HIKE: SUNDAY, AUGUST 18

Join the Frassati Fellowship Sunday, August 18th, to walk the Dennings Point Trail located near Beacon, NY. There will be wonderful views of waterside nature! This is an easy and short hike. We will meet for early morning mass and breakfast, before taking the Metro North - Hudson line train up to the Beacon Station. From there we will take a half hour walk along side the river and railroad to get to the trail head. Some of the terrain will be over beaches and those who like to swim should pack a bathing suit in case we find a safe swimming area. During the hike, we will eat our lunches on the trail and have time set aside for reveling in the beauty of God's creation, as well as some low-pressure group prayer. After the hike, we will have dinner at a nearby establishment and return to the city.
