HOLY HOURS & DINNERS

 

Our Holy Hours and Dinners are on summer break. We will be back on October 2024!

 

Past Events:

Frassati Fellowship of NYC invites all young adults to a beautiful Holy Hour with preaching, and praise and worship. The Sacrament of Reconciliation and intercessory prayer teams will also be available throughout the night. Come and adore Him!

Date/Time: Saturday, June 8, 2024 8-9pm
Location: Church of St. Vincent Ferrer, 869 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10065
Use side door entrance on 66th Street, by the Rosary altar.

Frassati Fellowship invites all young adults to our Holy Hour & Dinner! This encounter is the time when our community comes to pray, have dinner together, spend time with new and old friends, and grow in community. The night starts at 7pm with a delicious home cooked meal in the parish center of St. Vincent Ferrer, followed by a Holy Hour that includes preaching, praise & worship, and priests who are available to hear Confessions.

SUMMER HOLY HOUR AND PICNIC:

Join us for a picnic in Central Park followed by a Holy Hour at the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer. For this special event series Frassati Fellowship comes together to pray, share in fellowship, and grow in community. The day starts at 4pm with a picnic in the Southeast corner of Sheep Meadow in Central Park. Holy Hour starts at 7:30pm with praise & worship music and confessions.

**Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and masks are encouraged. Please bring your own food and drinks and do not share them with others.

Dates: July 12, August 9, August 16, September 13

Picnic Time: 4-7pm

Postponed Holy Hours & Dinners

Due to the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus, Frassati Fellowship of NYC has decided to cancel the Dinner and Holy Hour this month.  We invite you to pray for those suffering from the coronavirus and influenza, for a resolution to this situation, and for those in fear.  

While this was a difficult decision, it was made out of caution, and at the same time we know that the Lord has a plan.

manhattan DINNER AND Holy Hour: SUNDAY, February 9

Schedule:
6pm–7:30pm - Dinner (Door opens 5:50pm)

7:30pm–8pm - Clean up

8pm–9:15pm - Holy Hour

Suggested donation: $10

Location: Church of St. Vincent Ferrer, 869 Lexington Avenue, between 65th Street and 66th Street.

Brooklyn holy hour + Brunch: SATURDAY, October 26, Noon

Come for the next Brooklyn Holy Hour and brunch. St. Joseph Co-Cathedral is graciously hosting us for Eucharistic Adoration, with praise & worship and confession available. After Holy Hour, we will go for brunch and fellowship at a nearby restaurant. To help us get a headcount for brunch, RSVP to brooklyn@frassati.nyc.

What is a holy hour?

A Holy Hour, also referred to as Eucharistic Adoration, is a Catholic devotional tradition of spending an hour in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, which is exposed in a monstrance on the altar. Here is an example of how you may spend a Holy Hour, and 24 reasons to do so!
