NOVEMBER HIKE: SaturDAY, February 25

Come join us this February as we embark on our next Frassati hike! As it is a winter hike, it is expected to be cold, but it is also scheduled to rain all day. Since there's a possibility of there being mud everywhere, we're aiming for an easy to easy-moderate hike to get through the terrain more easily. Come join us February 22nd as we go to Cold Spring and embark on the Arden Point and Glenclyfe trail! We will meet for early morning Mass, have breakfast at Grand Central and take a Metro-North train (Hudson Line) to our destination once we exit the Garrison train station. We will eat our lunches on the trail and have time set aside for reveling in God's creation as well as some low-pressure group prayer. Note that cost of the eventbrite ticket does not include the price of your round trip ticket.

NOVEMBER HIKE: SUNDAY, JANUARY 25

Put your New Year's Resolutions into action with a brisk winter hike! We'll be hoping for snow but hiking whatever the weather this January. Join us as we enjoy the nearby nature of Westchester County! The weather outside may turn frightful, so this hike will be easier, shorter and closer to home than previous hikes in case the cold and wind become too unbearable. This will be a 4-5 mile easy to moderate hike with some short inclines. We will meet for early morning Mass in Manhattan, have breakfast at Grand Central, and take a Metro-North train to our destination.

Join the Frassati Fellowship for a fall hike at the Palisades Interstate Park! This is a moderate difficulty hike featuring forest trails and panoramic views of the Hudson River. With the leaves beginning to change this hike is sure to offer spectacular autumn views!

We will meet for early morning Mass and breakfast, and drive up along the Hudson to the trailhead. We will eat our lunches on the trail and have time set aside for reveling in the beauty of God's creation as well as some low-pressure group prayer. After the hike, we will have dinner together at an establishment in NYC.

CAMPING TRIP: OCTOBER 19-20

Frassati is excited to announce an overnight camping trip in Northern New Jersey. This lakeside campsite has a nearby bathroom, kayak rental, moderate hiking trails, and a fire pit for smores and songs.

AUGUST HIKE: SUNDAY, AUGUST 18

Join the Frassati Fellowship Sunday, August 18th, to walk the Dennings Point Trail located near Beacon, NY. There will be wonderful views of waterside nature! This is an easy and short hike. We will meet for early morning mass and breakfast, before taking the Metro North - Hudson line train up to the Beacon Station. From there we will take a half hour walk along side the river and railroad to get to the trail head. Some of the terrain will be over beaches and those who like to swim should pack a bathing suit in case we find a safe swimming area. During the hike, we will eat our lunches on the trail and have time set aside for reveling in the beauty of God's creation, as well as some low-pressure group prayer. After the hike, we will have dinner at a nearby establishment and return to the city.

FRASSATI BEACH DAY AND MASS ON THE BEACH: Sunday, August 25, 2019

As the days of summer wind down, this is a last chance to enjoy the smell of salt water, feel the sand beneath your toes, and hear the waves crashing as the Liturgy of the Word is read. Join us for some fun in the sun followed by Mass on the beach! A local parish holds a special Mass on Long Beach on Sundays in the Summer. For those who plan to take the train to Long Beach, LI, we will meet at Penn Station to catch the LIRR train to Long Beach. The tickets are approximately $10.50 each way. Those who wish to drive themselves can let us know if they would like to offer a ride to someone. Please bring whatever you'd like to eat or drink or to share with the group, and your beach essentials (chair, towel, sunscreen, etc.). 1:20pm - Meet at the Penn Station entrance near 214 W 34th street, between Swarovski and Garrett Popcorn

1:40pm- LIRR train to Long Beach leaves the station

2:00pm-6:15pm - Fellowship and Frisbee on the beach near Monroe Blvd. at the Boardwalk.

6:30pm - Mass

7:30-8 - Optional fellowship after mass. The next LIRR train back to the city will leave at 8:24pm.

WALKING PILGRIMAGE TO THE NATIONAL SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF CZESTOCHOWA: THURSDAY–SUNDAY, AUGUST 8–11, 2019

Come join Frassati Fellowship and the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal on a walking pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. During this walking pilgrimage there will be daily Mass and many opportunities for confession, reflection, praise and worship, and fellowship. A tent is required.
