MY SOUL PROCLAIMS WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP: SUNDAY, OCT. 4
Join Frassati Women's Ministry, My Soul Proclaims, at the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton where we will learn about the live of the local saint as a way to encourage each other to become mature and authentic Christian women. We will meet for Mass at the shrine at 11am. After Mass, we will explore the shrine, and then go for a picnic in the Battery park area. Please note that we will be following safety and social distancing protocols due to COVID-19 at the church and at the park.

MY SOUL PROCLAIMS FORMATION TALK: SUNDAY, SEPT. 20
Please join My Soul Proclaims, Frassati Women’s Ministry, for a new season of talks with the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal! This year the formation will be focused on helping us become full and mature Christian women. We will dive into topics related to the meaning of true freedom and the steps we can take to achieve it. The first talk will be focused on “Discovering True Freedom” of our faith. The talk will be followed by a Holy Hour, hosted by the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal.

VIRTUAL WOMEN'S GROUP: SUNDAY, July 5
We want to invite you to a virtual women's group this Sunday from 2pm to 3:30pm. The CFR sisters will be using a phone to give a talk on "Perfectionism", as a wrap up to our Feminine Genius series and a preparation for the series of sessions we will announce during the meeting. My Soul Proclaims (Frassati Women’s Ministry) is partnering with the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal on a formation program called "Living the Truth of Our Femininity." A CFR Sister will give talks on topics related to living the feminine genius authentically in the view of the Church. The talks will be followed by a Holy Hour, hosted by the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal. We will also meet for fellowship and an opportunity for discussion during the month between the talks to foster authentic friendships. This program will run from October 2019 through April 2020.

Sr. Margaret Michael will be joining us for a day of fellowship as we enjoy God’s creation and build authentic friendships. Join us and other women for a night of fellowship and watercoloring. Our own Katie Woltornist will help us nourish our creativity as we encounter beauty through painting. As John Paul II taught, "through his 'artistic creativity' man appears more than ever 'in the image of God.'" (JPII, Letter to Artists) Wine and cheese will be served.

Join us for a book study of Awakening Love: An Ignatian Retreat on the Song of Songs. Through the study, we hope to discover His great love through the lens of the Bride of the Song of Songs. We will journey with Her by experiencing awakening love, the intensity and tenderness of the lovers’ intimacy, and become transformed by it through spiritual exercises. God desires to give Himself totally to each one of us, and He is delighted when we receive His gift of self in prayer. Join us and other women as we embark on this journey of fellowship, prayer and discussion.

Through this dynamic night with powerful talks, witness, Adoration, healing, and praise and worship, we will accompany one another as we build this sacred space for women and authentic friendships. Confessions and prayer teams will be available.
