"Even today, Pier Giorgio's life is a beacon for lay spirituality. For him, faith was not a private devotion, but it was driven by the power of the Gospel and his membership in ecclesial associations. He was also generously committed to society, contributed to political life and devoted himself ardently to the service of the poor." - Text from Pope Leo XIV's homily for the canonization Mass for Saints Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati on September 7, 2025

"And when you become totally consumed by this Eucharistic Fire, then you will be able to thank with greater awareness the Lord God who has called you to be part of His flock and you will enjoy that peace which those who are happy according to the world have never tasted. Because true happiness, young people, does not consist in the pleasures of the world and in earthly things, but in peace of conscience which we can have only if we are pure in heart and in mind." - July 29, 1923 letter from Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati to the members of Catholic Youth of Pollone
